FREEMAN is a heady mix of psychedelic, bluesy-art rock refracted through Gene’s Pop filter. The content is heavier, almost spiritual, compared to his previous work in Ween, yet the album epitomises Gene’s talent for the sardonic and his weird warped brilliance.
